I am a Socialist in South Carolina (believe it or not), and I’m always glad to see someone running to advance our values. I used to live in Monmouth County, and I’ll tell everyone I know to vote for you.

Comment on Endorsement of the Red Bank Community Garden Proposal by John de la Parra http://votenoble.com/2011/07/15/red-bank-community-garden-endorsement/#comment-41 Sat, 16 Jul 2011 11:39:10 +0000 http://votenoble.com/?p=187#comment-41 Pat, I love your energy and commitment to our community. Thank you for coming out and supporting a community garden. My only goal is to get a garden in an acceptable location in Red Bank. As a horticulturist and a resident of Red Bank, I think there are least a few other acceptable options besides 94 Front and I personally see no harm in looking at other potential sites while the council remains dug in against us on this particular site. In fact, I believe looking at a site like the middle school brings the idea of gardening, sustainability, and community to our town’s children and their parents. A garden there would promote diversity, learning, and togetherness on a level playing field for all in our town. Thank you again for coming out to support us!

This country really needs people to go up against the 2 corporate ” same old same old” parties.
